I started my business after seeing a need in the market to be able to send a gift that is unique and personal.

I struggled to find a service that can do this without charging the earth. A gift that is longer lasting than flowers, has a personal touch and would be something I would love to receive myself.  

After researching and making my own candles for friends and family, I was told how great they smelled even when not lit.

From the candle wax, fragrance and jar, all are guaranteed to be of high quality that I have researched, sourced and can honestly say are not harmful like some cheaper candles on the market that have paraffin/palm wax which is petroleum based. Some candle manufacturers label these as "soy blend" so you don't actually know what is in them.  If your candle emits black soot or you are left with black inside the candle jar then you know your candle is emitting toxins into the air you breathe.

I use plant based organic coconut and soy wax.  This wax melts at a lower temperature so burns cooler.   It is also the cleanest burning wax on the market and does not contain harmful toxins or carcinogens. 

Another tip to share is a lot of people are unaware of making sure your first burn of any candle is long enough to melt the candle wax to the edge of your vessel.  This prevents "tunnelling" and makes sure you get the maximum burn time from your candles.  Wax left on the side of the jar is wasted if this isn't done on the first light. 

Also, trim your wick before you relight your candle.  Long wicks create an uptake of carbon which can produce unwanted smoke.  This will also help the candle burn evenly.

I include gift wrapping and a personal message with the candle if you are sending as a gift.
